Secret-Ingredient Miso-Cheddar Puff Pastry Swirls
From a London event with my friend Hanna Geller of Building Feasts
Greetings from London, where I arrived last Monday to a heatwave that only abated this morning. It’s been Tel Aviv–level hot and humid, so I’ve felt extra at home in one of my favorite cities. This morning it’s cool and grey (my favorite combination), and I’m sitting at my friend Hanna Geller’s marble kitchen counter, drinking coffee I made with her manual Pavoni espresso machine.
I came here to see one of my idols, Stevie Wonder, perform in Hyde Park (that was last night, and it was glorious. Heart has been cracked open, which was necessary after the last few months and years). I also came to do an event with Hanna, my personal Gertrude Stein of the London culinary set, who runs cooking classes, supper clubs, and other delightful culinary pursuits through her business, Building Feasts.
